2011 SMMHC Annual Tack Sale

Join us at our Third Annual Tack Swap and Sale

Summer is just around the corner and with a new date and a new facility this year's tack sale is just the way to gear up. Perhaps you've been training all winter and are taking stock for this year's show season. Or maybe it's time to start thinking about clearing the cobwebs out of your tack room and dusting off your saddle for your first trail ride of the year. Either way, this is the perfect time to unload horsey equipment you have lying around that you don't need, and track down you wished you had last year, but never got around to buying. You can kill 2 birds with 1 stone at our Tack Sale on May 7th.

Set up will start at 8:00am with the doors opening at 9:00am. The sale will last until 2:00pm. The cost for a table is $10 for reservations received before April 30, last-minute planners pay $15 (SMMHC members receive a $2 discount). There is no commission on sales and refreshments will be available for purchase all day from our youth club.

FUN FOR THE KIDS: A hands-on activity table will be available for the youngsters while mom and dad shop and swap. The Show Me Morgan Club Youth group will have a table where the kids can make their own horsey craft item. The youngsters can make horse head pencils, horse puppets, decorate a door knocker or make a horse shoe picture frame and other hands on activities. Prices of items will range from $1.00 to $12.00.
